All of ICH Scotland contributions are collectively a collaboration of its registered users and communities across Scotland. Only (logged-in) registered users may add new articles and edit the editable pages of this site. Contributing either by adding a new article or editing an existing one, a published document is created, and a public record of every word added, subtracted, or changed. This is a public act, but editors are identified by their project user names only as the author of such changes (and not by IP addresses).
All contributions made to a Project, and all publicly available information about those contributions, are irrevocably licensed and may be freely copied, quoted, reused and adapted by third parties with few restrictions. When a page is edited by a logged-in editor, the server confidentially stores related IP information for a limited period of time. This information is automatically deleted after a set period, and is, at no point, publicly accessible.
